Privacy Notice
Last updated: June 23, 2026
1. Who we are
Aailati is a family productivity software service. Aailati (the "Seller") acts as the data controller for personal data we collect through the service.
2. Data we collect
- Account data — email address, username, family workspace name, password hash.
- Profile data you enter — household members, optional age/height/weight for informational health estimates, optional wellness logs (mood, sleep, hydration), dietary preferences.
- Usage data — expenses, bills, grocery items, meal plans, chores, study items, goals, calendar events you create in the app.
- Technical data — IP address, device and browser type, timestamps, error logs.
- Support messages — anything you send us by email or via in-app support.
3. Why we use it
- To provide and operate the service (contract performance).
- To authenticate you and keep your account secure (legitimate interests, legal obligation).
- To generate informational AI summaries you ask for (contract performance).
- To detect and prevent abuse, fraud, and security incidents (legitimate interests).
- To improve the product (legitimate interests; aggregated and de-identified where possible).
- To respond to your support requests.
4. Who we share data with
- Infrastructure providers — hosting, database, and serverless infrastructure that runs the service on our behalf.
- AI providers — when you use AI features, the relevant prompt and minimal context are sent to a third-party AI model provider to generate the response. We do not send this data for any other purpose.
- Paddle.com — our Merchant of Record. Paddle handles checkout, payments, tax, subscription management, and invoicing. Payment information is collected directly by Paddle and is governed by Paddle's Privacy Policy.
- Authorities — where required by law or to protect rights, property, or safety.
We do not sell your personal data and we do not show ads.
5. Data isolation
Each family workspace is isolated. Row-level security ensures other workspaces cannot read your records.
6. International transfers
Our infrastructure providers may process data outside your country. Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards (such as standard contractual clauses or adequacy decisions).
7. Retention
We keep your data for as long as your account is active. When you delete your account, we delete or anonymize your personal data within a reasonable period, except where we are required to keep it (for example, billing records).
8. Your rights
Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict, port, or object to processing of your personal data, and to withdraw consent. You can exercise most of these rights by signing into your account, or by emailing us at aailatiapp@gmail.com. You may also have the right to complain to a supervisory authority.
9. Security
We use industry-standard technical and organizational measures (encryption in transit, encrypted password storage, access controls, row-level security) to protect your data. No system is perfectly secure; please use a strong, unique password.
10. Cookies
We use a small number of essential cookies and local-storage entries to keep you signed in, remember your language preference, and operate the service. We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.
11. Children
Aailati accounts must be created by an adult. Family members tracked inside an account (children, students, etc.) are profile entries managed by the account owner. We do not knowingly create direct accounts for children.
12. Changes
We may update this Privacy Notice from time to time. Material changes will be announced inside the app or by email.
